Things change as they do....
Sitting on my porch in Oakland I can't help but think about the year thus far, it's been a strangle one . Well that's what Elizabeth said. Elizabeth is a Telegraph regular, peoples park dweller. She's seen it all and lived it hard. I know this from the crazy in her talk and the crack swagger in her stride. Reduced to bargain beer and ciggarette shorts. I want to think there is some sweet premium wine. She warbles about science fiction. I nod and zone out as the sun wears me out. People I hardly know ask me about my day in some insincere form of small talk. How's your girl? My girl is fine. I'm fine. I'm doing what I do. What I do is space out. Get lost in routine. I want more out of life. I'm just not sure what it is. The things that make me happy remain simple. Rambling. Money makes the world go round and my world has been spinning off it's axis. A buck here, a couple there, a hundred, a thousand. People came and went. People gum bumping and quilting... Motor vehicles broke, they got fixed. My soundtrack is written by John Carpenter. Waiting for the zombie apocalypse...
